We went up and down the Pyg track with our 3 children aged 12, 7 and 5 and the dog (missing out Crib Goch!) and then a couple of days later went up the Miners track and down the train track.
Took all the usual stuff and had extra help from an oxygen supplement in our water called PODS-Pure Oxygen Drops. These are great for everything but especially building stamina and endurance, it also help reduce the build up of Lactic Acid in your muscles - no cramp for us!!!! We use it all the time now, I have never known my husband have so much energy. Views were great from the summit and we can recommend the hot chocolate at the "caff" a bit windy at times but no rain so that was great.
We are going to Scafell pike and Skiddaw in October so any advise would be appreciated.
