I went up Snowdon earlier this year for the first time in around 30 years. Whilst I was only 6 at the time of my earlier visit I had vivid memories of the summit cafe being a bit lower down from the summit.
Was this the case and if so could someone direct me to some photo's of the old one?
Thanks

The existing building was designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis (of Portmeirion fame) back in 1935 so has not changed its position since then.
I was taken up Snowdon for the first time by my parents also about 30 years ago by train and the summit station and cafe is pretty much the same as my earliest memories. These days I prefer to walk up, however my most recent trip was a couple of years ago when I took my daughters up on the train and then walked back down.
