Hi,
I was up snowdon a few weeks back and when i got to the top at about 6ish i ventured into the cafe to find the toilets. On the way out i heard an announcement saying that the last train would be leaving in 5 minutes so before i went up to to the trig point i decided to wait for the train to take most people down as it was quite crowded. When i got to the summet marker after watching the train leave i overheard a family with a teenage girl on her mobile saying that they were just about to get the train down. I believe this to be a serious issue and if the railway is going to take people up the mountain its should be the responsibility of the driver and crew to make sure all passengers wanting the train are back on the last one. The problem could be serious as the family in my example had only sandels, no maps, no water and no other neccisary equipment. Another example i read about was a family who actually called mountain rescue as they missed the train, so im sure they will agree with my views. Sorry my first post is a negative one, on a brighter note i would like to say Hi to all members!
