We Done It!

I can't believe we done it!:cool:

There was 13 of us ranging from 4 to 49! We done the Llanberis walk which is not as easy as they say!

Kayleigh (4) started off by crying her eyes out at the big slope at the bottom!! We all thought OMG this is a bad idea! BUT once she had a carry for about 5 mins she stopped and just got on with it!!! She beat me, Sarah (MUM), to the top and we worked out she had three carries in total for about 300ft max on the way up and twice on the way down for about 200ft in total so I'm guessing she done it 99 1/2 % by herself!

The boys, Luke (15) & Elliott (13) climbed up it in 3 & 3/4 hours.

Us others Steve, Michael, Rose, Kayleigh and myself, Sarah got to the peak in 4 1/2hr.

The girls, Chloe (9), Holly (9), Aimee (16) and Amanda got to the bit just before the peak and decided that was high enough for them!

The greatest achiever of all was Laura (15) who has an immense fear of heights! She got to about 50ft before the last train station before she turned back! WELL DONE LAURA!!!!!:D and her Dad, Duncan kindly agreed to take her back!

Anyway I wanted to achieve it and I did!! Not sure my friends are ever gonna talk to me again for dragging them up the mountain! I had a massive grin on my face all the way back down, which was only 2 & 3/4 hr and I was chuffed to bits that i done it!!!!!

Kayleigh's favourite bit was the last bit where she had to actually rock climb to get herself up there! everyone elses was the bit where we got back in the car LOL

WELL DONE EVERYONE LOOK OUT BEN NEVIS HERE WE COME!!!!!!!:D

Hi there,

I am trying to arrange a charity climb with 3 of my friends later this year and we want to climb Mt Snowdon. We are all complete novice climbers and have not attempted to climb before. Could you recommend a route/itenary for the climb. We want to chalenge ourselves as we need to raise £28k for our charity to build a school in Madagascar. Any help is greatly appreciated from your experiences.
