Hi,

I'm planning to go up snowdon with a group of people with disabilities, myself included, near summer.

I wondered if anyone had any experience of managing snowdon with a physical disability and what the best path/s to take would be?

Any tips or tricks?

Thanks!

Emma

Hi Emma,

This is a tricky question but I am sure it is possible. Th best way forward would be emply a mountain guide for the day, as even the "easy" Llanberis Path has some dodgy points on it, not to mention the unpredictable weather or silly little accidents that might happen. The Guide would have the experience to advise you and help you on the day. Employing a guide, possibly with assistants for the day, need not be a very expensive exercise, day rates would start from £150 per guide, I think. Try something like "snowdon mountain guides" into google and see what comes up!

Hope this Helps

Paul
